- Driveways may require Public Works Director approval (Please note: Express Service is offered only by the Building & Permiting dept.; Public Works does not provide this level of service).

All other permits and/or plans considered “Drop-off Permits/Plans”. The Village of Palmetto Bay may take up to twenty (20) working days to review an application and plans depending on the complexity of the project. A processing number will be assigned to each application when it is dropped off. When the review is complete, the applicant will be notified that the permit is ready or that revisions need to be made to the plans. Once the applicant is notified, they must come in to pick up the permit/plans during the following hours:
